Billy's on Burnet is the place to go when you're looking for a good hamburger close by. 
Located on Hancock and Burnet, Billy's is owned and run by Billy Forrester. He lives in Rosedale and after owning and operating various well known beer establishments for 25 years around town including Waterloo Brewing, Dog and Duck, Crown and Anchor and others, he decided to stay closer to home with his next venture. The idea of a neighborhood restaurant that people can walk to and enjoy themselves appealed to him. And that's what's happening. The place has a pool table, small game room, an outdoor deck and TVs
situated for easy viewing wherever you're seated. When I visited on a
Sunday afternoon, there was a group of about 10 customers hanging out
watching the college baseball playoffs. Billy says the location has
worked out well for him with business steadily growing since he opened
the doors in September 2004. Burgers aren't the only thing on the menu
. He serves up salads, wings, sandwiches, plus a kids menu (click here to see complete menu).
