In July, Allandale residents will have a new dining option close by in Allandale Village. Hang Town Grill, currently with another location in Westlake, will be opening up where Dry Dock was. Hang Town has been in operation since 1996 in the Westlake Shopping Village along Capitol of Texas Highway. The restaurant is a family-oriented diner with char-grilled burgers, chicken sandwiches, gourmet pizzas, and fresh tossed salads. In my correspondence with April Ferguson Smith, Director of Marketing and Communications, Hang Town is particularly excited about its gourmet pizza offering. They are expanding their menu at this location to include small, medium and large pizzas. Hours of operation will be Sun - Thurs 11am - 9pm and Fri - Sat 11am - 10pm.
