On Thursday, June 12, Goodwill Industries of Central Texas will host their 50 Year Celebration. The event runs from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. and it will be held at the Goodwill Community Center, located at 1015 Norwood Park Blvd.
This free and open to the community event will include three different areas: An outdoor children’s area with face painters, balloon twisters, jugglers and games; the Goodwill Archive Lounge with music from Hi-Fi and Phil Wiseman; and lastly, the Golden Concert Hall with bands The Memphis Train Revue and Radiostar playing music from the 5 decades that we have served and been supported by the Central Texas community. Austin restaurants will be featured by food stations throughout the Goodwill Community Center and attendees can enter for the chance to win great prizes.
