Help Austin Energy develop its generation plan to meet Austin area electricity demands through 2020. The plan must meet the energy demands of our growing community, address City Council goals for renewable energy and carbon reduction, and provide affordable electricity rates.
Join Austin Energy representatives for a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 in the Council Chambers at Austin City Hall, 301 W. Second Street. The audience will have the opportunity to participate and ask questions following a presentation on the proposed generation plan. A citizen survey and blog also are available online to help collect citizen feedback.
